Jeffrey P. Hine is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1983. While in law school, he was a member of the Order of the Barristers and was on the National Moot Court Team.

Jeff is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. His practice focuses on insurance defense, general commercial litigation, and professional liability lawsuits. He is currently handling cases across the State of Missouri, in Illinois, and in Arkansas.

Throughout his career, Jeff has tried numerous general liability, products and medical malpractice cases to verdict. His trial record was recognized by the Missouri Bar Foundation in 1993, when Jeff was awarded the prestigious Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award, an award given annually to three outstanding young trial lawyers in the state.

Jeff is a past president of the Young Lawyers Association of the Cape Girardeau County Bar and has been active in the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
